While the interior of the tomb resembles explosions of colorful ceramic mosaic, the majority of its massive façade is coated in black, worn concrete, conveying a surprisingly Gothic feel. The last architectural creation of the Nguyen Dynasty was Khai Dinh Tomb, which is located about 10 kilometers from the center of Hue. Because of its creative use of Western materials and ideas, it is considered by many to be among Vietnam's most exceptional structures.
 
Experts in feng shui at the time pinpointed the exact placement of the tomb. The mausoleum is surrounded by natural features like hills and streams, which were also chosen using the principles of geographical feng shui. It produced the breathtaking and amazing landscape that we see today.
 
It will take about 45 minutes to reach Khai Dinh tomb by boat, which is 20 minutes longer than if you take the road.
 
Alternatively, you can take National Road 49 if you're in the city center. You can travel by bus, vehicle, or motorcycle. A bus that goes to Dong Ba-Cho Tuan can also be taken, and you can get off at the Khai Dinh bus stop.
 
To go to Khai Dinh Tomb, a cab is the most practical option. You can choose XANH SM cab, which is an eco-friendly option, or your typical cab.
