The Sunset Limited is an Amtrak long-distance train that operates three times a week between Los Angeles, California, and New Orleans, Louisiana.The journey covers approximately 1,995 miles and takes about 46 hours and 35 minutes westbound, and 45 hours and 40 minutes eastbound. ​
